Black Male Rapper had the highest amount of votes. This is most likely due to the underrepresentation of women and sexism within the music industry. Thus, I will probably include both a male and female on the cover to both catch the attention of the audience and bring exposure.

Practice Feature Lead

      In this blog, I will be practicing and assessing my ability to write my own practice lead as I will have to create one for my own magazine. Given the story below:    " The police in this municipality received a call at 3:45 p.m. yesterday afternoon. A woman shouted at the sergeant who answered the telephone. She said: "My son's been beaten. His teacher whipped him this afternoon, and he's all red where she paddled him. Can teachers do that? That's assault and battery, and I want her arrested." Preliminary Task

 For my first preliminary assignment,  I will be using the  "Canva" platform to construct a practice cover page. Through this task, I plan to: Practice my editing skills Use an eye-catching color scheme that fits the content Focus on bold fonts and lettering, similar to those in other music magazines  Select photos and a page set up that will allow me to display my information in an efficient yet stylish way  Become more comfortable working the 'Canva' platform so I can utilize its tools to the best of my ability for the remainder of this project.
